Near Me Searching in Paragon Connect
Search for listings around your physical location using the Near Me search in Paragon Connect. This feature can be used on a desktop, on a phone, or on a tablet. This requires using the location services on your device and may require you to grant access upon the first use.
On the Paragon Connect Dashboard, click on the Near Me icon next to the Power Search bar.
This will open a Map Search and display properties around your location.
You can narrow down the results by clicking on the "Filter" icon at the top right.
This will open a popup window for users to narrow down results.
Pro tip: Use the binoculars icon to find desired fields.
Once the search results have been narrowed down to the desired listings, you can take further action.
Use the top right icons to 1) View the results in a different format 2) Filter results again
or 3) Use overflow menu to add to Saved Searches and/or open Saved Searches folder
Customizing the Near Me Search
Did you know that you can customize the Near Me Search? Update the Multi-Class default template so that each time you click on the "Near Me Search" icon, the results will be automatically be refined to your most common listing search.
First, Open the menu and select Properties, then select Multi-Class Search. Then, customize the Multi-Class Search page to your desired preferences. Add/remove fields, add in criteria to select fields, and organize fields into desired containers. Want to learn more about customizing searches? Once the desired Multi-Class search template selections have been made, save the Multi-Class search as the default template.
Click on the overflow menu in the top right of the page, and select "Update Template", then confirm that you want to update the default template.
After updating the template, the Near Me Search will pull results based on those selections. Results can always be filtered differently on a case-by-case basis.
